122.1 Lending of objects

The Board of trustees of the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Science Museum, the Armouries and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, have the power to lend any object comprised in their collections, of which the property in the object is vested in them, for the purposes of public exhibition or otherwise1. Such a loan may be within the United Kingdom or elsewhere2.
