The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 20131 prescribe information which a consumer must be given before he is bound by a contract with a trader2. Compliance with the Regulations at an auction depends upon the nature of the auction, what is being auctioned and whether the particular contract is between a trader and consumer:
