3 Notices on premises

Before commencing a sale by auction, an auctioneer must affix a notice in a conspicuous part of the auction room or place containing his full first name and surname and place of residence in default of which he is liable to a penalty1. It is also necessary to display a copy of the Auctions (Bidding Agreements) Act 19272 and the Auctions (Bidding Agreements) Act 19693 at every sale.
