41 Remedies available to arbitral tribunal

The parties are free to agree on the remedies that the arbitral tribunal may grant1. Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the tribunal has the power to2:

  1. 41.1

        make a declaration as to any matter to be determined in the proceedings;

  2. 41.2

        order the payment of a sum of money (in any currency);

  3. 41.3

        grant an injunction against a party;

  4. 41.4

        order specific performance of a contract (other than in relation to a contract relating to land); and

  5. 41.5

        order the rectification, setting aside or cancellation of a deed
