14 Dog control orders

The Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 has a specific Part designated to the controlling of dogs1. A local authority or parish council2 may make an order relating to a certain area of land in its area3 whereby an offence can relate to fouling of land by dogs and the removal of its faeces4, the keeping of dogs on leads5, the exclusion of dogs from land6 and the number of dogs a person may take on to any land7.
