9 Allotment gardens: representations as to provision

Written representations may be made by any six residents to their local authority as to the need for the provision of allotment gardens, and the authority must take such representations into consideration1. A council2 has the same power of letting one or more allotments to persons working on a co-operative system as may be exercised as respects smallholdings by a county council3.
