56 Control by the Secretary of State or the Welsh Minister

The Secretary of State or the Welsh Minister may, if satisfied that the functions of a smallholdings authority are not being satisfactorily exercised by that authority, direct that the authority shall exercise any of its functions in a specified manner, or by order transfer, to themselves, such of the functions of the authority as may be specified in the order1.
