55 Acquisition of land by the Secretary of State or the Welsh Minister

The Secretary of State and the Welsh Minister have power to acquire, by agreement, any land which in their opinion is required by them for the purpose of smallholdings1, and may designate any land vested in them as being land held for that purpose2.
