157 Fixtures as part of a listed building

Fixtures within the garden of a building may be protected if the building is one which appears on the list of buildings of special architectural or historic interest compiled for the purposes of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 Section 1.

For these purposes a ‘building’ includes any structure or erection, and any part of a building as so defined, but does not include plant or machinery comprised in a building. Specifically, a listed building includes any object or structure fixed to the building, and any object or structure within
