92 Contractual licences

Frequently the owner of sporting rights may wish to grant those rights to others for short periods eg a season or a day. In that case a grant of a sporting licence can be made1. The licensee is protected by equity against revocation in breach of contract by the licensor, and at law, notice must be given of revocation and a reasonable time allowed for vacating the land2.
