65 General scheme

The family farming partnership agreement1 assumes that the farm will be made an asset of the partnership and that all the children are brought into the partnership whether they take an active part in the business or not. The partnership is designed to survive the death of both parents and to preserve their rights as full working partners during their lives. One of the children is designated as managing partner and the intention is to give all the children rights to share in the benefits produced by the farm whilst providing that the managing partner
