602 Application of the regulations

The Environmental Impact Assessment (Agriculture) Regulations apply to projects for the restructuring of rural land holdings and for changing the use of land by bringing uncultivated land or semi-natural areas into intensive agriculture. They do not apply, however, to projects that require planning permission1, new land drainage works carried out by certain operating authorities2 and forestry projects3 to which separate EIA Regulations apply.
