48 Greening equivalent practices

As an alternative to compliance with the greening practices a farmer can comply with equivalent practices which yield an equivalent or higher level of benefit for the climate and the environment compared to the greening practices. These equivalent practices are listed in the Regulations1. In England land certified as organic by an accredited body will qualify automatically for the greening payment.
