461 Conditions of exemptions

Conditions must be adhered to if any exemption is claimed1. These are:

  1. 461.1

        no burning at weekends, bank holidays, or from one hour before sunset until the following sunrise;

  2. 461.2

        no more than 10 hectares of cereal straw and stubble and 20 hectares of other residues to be burnt in any single operation;

  3. 461.3

        no burning within certain distances of various objects perceived to be dangers, or at risk2;

  4. 461.4

        the area to be burnt must be completely surrounded by a fire-break 10 metres wide for cereal straw and stubble burning and 5 metres wide for
