412 Fees in relation to planning applications

Planning application fees are calculated by reference to statutory instrument which provides for different classes of development and the fees that will be charged for a planning application in respect of such a development.

The statutory instrument currently in force in England is the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications, Deemed Applications, Requests and Site Visits) (England) Regulations 2012; for Wales it is the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications, Deemed Applications and Site Visits) (Wales) Regulations 20151.
