291 Changes in occupation

Because the applicant will not be able to comply with his undertakings if he gives up possession of the land, he must agree with the incoming occupier that he will take over the obligations otherwise he is liable to be called upon to repay sums received1. The incoming occupier can then apply to take over the undertakings under the scheme and, if accepted, will be entitled to receive outstanding payments of grant2. The departing owner or occupant will need to ensure that his position is protected in any agreement from a breach
