283 Obligations

During the five year term the applicant has to meet certain minimum environmental standards and must plant and manage the energy crops in accordance with the terms of the scheme agreement including any special conditions and the relevant best practice guidance which is available on the Natural England website1. In particular access must be given at any reasonable time to authorised Natural England, Rural Payment Agency, Defra, Forestry Commission, or other authorised staff or their agents to inspect the land. The applicant may be required to accompany the inspector and to produce any relevant records. Inspections
