281 Breach of the agreement

If there is a breach of the scheme agreement Natural England can demand repayment of grants made under the scheme. In addition, depending on the type of breach, there is power for Natural England to impose penalties1. Where a serious breach has occurred, an additional penalty may be imposed and the agreement holder may also be prohibited from entering a new agreement under any other EU agri-environment schemes.
