237 Countryside Stewardship capital grants

Capital grants is the third part of Countryside Stewardship (in addition to Mid-tier and Higher-tier). These are standalone capital grants intended to support the delivery of environmental outcomes and are quite separate from the capital grants offered through the Mid-tier or Higher-tier application process.

Standalone capital grants are for:

  1. 237.1

        Hedgerows and boundaries.

  2. 237.2

        Water quality grants.

  3. 237.3

        Feasibility studies.

  4. 237.4

        Implementation plans.

  5. 237.5

        Woodland tree health issues.

  6. 237.6

        Woodland management plans.

  7. 237.7

        Woodland creation establishment.

Each of these capital grants has its own application timeframe, rules and duration1.
