147 Power to make byelaws

Natural England and the Natural Resources Body for Wales have power to make byelaws1 and in certain circumstances to compulsorily acquire the interest of any occupier of an European site2. The latter right arises where the Council is satisfied that they are unable to conclude a management agreement on terms that are reasonable or, where they have entered into a management agreement, a breach of the agreement has occurred which prevents or impairs the reasonable management of the site.
