133 Payments for withdrawal or modification of consents

Where an existing consent is withdrawn or modified1 or a stop notice is served2, Natural England and the Natural Resources Body for Wales is required to make a payment where the occupier is able to show that he or she has suffered loss as a result. Such compensation will again normally be paid under the terms of a formal agreement, confirming the withdrawal or modification of the consent or stop notice and may also provide for payments for positive management of the site of special scientific interest.
