126 Compulsory purchase

If Natural England and the Natural Resources Body for Wales forms the view that they are unable to conclude on reasonable terms an agreement with an owner or occupier of all or part of a site of special scientific interest as to the management of the land, or have entered into such an agreement but are satisfied that it has been breached in such a way that the land is not being managed satisfactorily, then they have the right to compulsorily acquire all or any part of the site of special scientific interest1.
