102 Prohibited species

Certain species of wild animals and birds are protected by legislation and generally may not be possessed or sold except under licence1. The importation and exportation of endangered species is restricted by statute and may be permitted only under licence; selling such species other than under licence is an offence2. Additionally, certain destructive, non-indigenous wild animals may not be imported or kept except in some cases under licence3.
