100 Sale of animals
100.1 General law

Domestic animals are subject to the ordinary laws of contract and sale of goods so far as the transfer of their ownership is concerned1. Accordingly, the right of the seller to sell is an implied condition of the contract, and warranties for quiet possession and freedom from incumbrances are implied2.
