68 Commercial Rent Arrears Recovery

Commercial Rent Arrears Recovery (‘CRAR’) applies to all tenancies of commercial premises which fulfil the criteria set out in the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 20071. For CRAR to be available, premises are treated as commercial provided that none of the following apply:

  1. 68.1

        the premises (or anything on them) are let under the immediate lease as a dwelling;

  2. 68.2

        the premises (or anything on them) are let under an inferior lease as a dwelling;

  3. 68.3

        the premises (or anything on them) are occupied as a dwelling2.
