49 Service of notice to quit

Any notice given under the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 is duly given1 to a person if:

  1. 49.1

        it is delivered to him; or

  2. 49.2

        it is left at his proper (ie in the case of an individual, last known2) address; or

  3. 49.3

        it is given to him in a manner authorised in a written agreement3 between the parties prior to the service of the notice.

Notices to a body corporate should be given to the clerk or secretary of the body and the proper address is its registered or principal
