37 Frequency of rent reviews

The parties may agree in writing for rent reviews of whatever frequency they wish and from whatever date or dates they wish1. The parties are free to provide for irregular review dates in the tenancy agreement and thus, for instance, delay the first review for a number of years. They are able to choose the frequency of the review and/or the date in any particular year when a review is to take effect, even if the review itself is to be in accordance with the statutory formula.
