2: THE DUTY OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY

351 Procedure

An application to the housing authority for the rehousing of a tenant under the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976 must be in writing and in such form as the authority may direct1. Within seven days of receiving the application, the authority must notify the occupier of the dwellinghouse of which possession is sought that the application has been made2. In previous years the authority or the applicant or the occupier of the dwellinghouse was able to obtain advice on the case made by the applicant concerning the interests of efficient agriculture, and regarding
