307 Relevant tenancy1

‘Relevant tenancy’ means any tenancy under which a dwellinghouse is let as a separate dwelling, which:

  1. 307.1

        is not a protected tenancy for the purposes of the Rent Act 19772; and

  2. 307.2

        would be such a tenancy if the provisions of the Rent Act 1977 relating to the definition of ‘protected tenancies’3 were modified as mentioned in the Rent (Agriculture) Act 19764.

Neither a tenancy to which the Landlord and Tenant Act 19545 applies nor a tenancy of an agricultural holding within the meaning of the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986
