(a) Entitlement to compensation

239 Tenant’s entitlement to compensation for market garden improvements

A further category of improvements may rank for statutory compensation if carried out on an agricultural holding (or any part of an agricultural holding1) to which the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 applies2, and in respect of which it is agreed by an agreement in writing that the holding is to be let or treated as a market garden3.
