215 Additional compensation

A tenant who is entitled to statutory compensation for disturbance may be entitled also to additional compensation1 equal to four years’ rent of the holding at the rate at which the rent was payable immediately before the termination of the tenancy.

Additional compensation is not payable where the reason stated in the notice to quit falls within Cases A or H2, or where3:

        the relevant notice to quit contains a statement that the carrying out of the purpose for which the landlord proposes to determine the tenancy is desirable on specified4 grounds, or that the landlord will
