193 Single application

Where only one application is made, the tribunal1, if satisfied that the applicant was an eligible person at the date of death, and that he has not subsequently ceased to be such a person, must determine2 whether, in their opinion, the applicant is a suitable person3 to become the tenant of the holding. The tribunal must afford the landlord an opportunity of stating his views on the suitability of the applicant4 before making a determination.
