2: NOTICES AND COUNTER-NOTICES(a) Notices to quit167 Length of noticeA notice to quit1 an agricultural holding or part of an agricultural holding (notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in the contract of tenancy of the holding) is invalid if it purports to determine the tenancy before the expiry of 12 months from the end of the then current year of the tenancy, notwithstanding any contrary provision in the tenancy agreement2.
