30 Price marking

The Price Marking Order 20041 applies wherever a trader indicates that any product is or may be for sale to a consumer, subject to it having no application to products supplied in the course of the provision of a service, to sales by auction, or to sales of works of art or antiques2. The Order requires that, except where products are sold from bulk or in an advertisement (other than an advertisement encouraging a consumer to enter into a distance contract), the selling price must be indicated in accordance with the provisions of the Order3.
