Meet the speakers

Jo Delahunty KC

Professor Jo Delahunty KC MCIArb is a barrister, family arbitrator, Recorder and Emeritus Professor of Law at Gresham College. Winner of Family KC of 2025 at the LexisNexis Family Law Awards and The Lawyer You Aspire to Be at the 2025 Legal Style Awards, she was also shortlisted by Chambers and Partners for Outstanding Contribution to DEI and ranked as a Star Individual in 2026, alongside Band 1 Leading Silk recognition in The Legal 500 2026. She is the author of We Set The Bar and Domestic Abuse in the Family Justice System, both published this year.


Yasmin Omotosho

Yasmin Omotosho has a multidisciplinary practice across public inquiries, regulatory and professional discipline, family law and criminal law. Currently, Yasmin is acting for the Ministry of Defence in the Independent Inquiry Relating to Afghanistan (concerning alleged unlawful killings by UK Special Forces and their alleged cover up) and is Junior Counsel to the Independent Inquiry into Grooming Gangs.


Douglas Simpson

Doug Simpson is a Lead Knowledge Lawyer at LexisNexis, heading up the Construction team. He specialises in contentious construction and worked in private practice as a construction disputes lawyer before joining Lexis.
