With the increasing prevalence of legal operations competencies being adopted in smaller organisations, the promise of process management efficiencies seems more possible for legal teams.

This interactive panel debate – held in association with The Law Society and the LexisNexis In-house Legal Operations Forum - will explore the implementation of technology in depth and discuss its pros, cons and overall value in the context of building an effective and efficient legal department.

  • what does the legal operations role add over and above traditional legal team roles?
  • implementation of technology in depth - from putting together a business case, getting buy-in from the board, working with other teams in your organisation
  • how to address the cultural aspect of change today to day working life as teams adapt and work smarter.

  • discuss examples of where and what has been rolled out
  • evaluate the pros, cons and overall value.
