This week saw the successful launch of the Aspire virtual summer series during which Amy McConnell, Head of Legal Operations at Vodafone Business spoke on the topic of "How to innovate in legal?"

Events take place each Thursday between 5:30pm and 6:15pm. Each session is bite-sized, as we realise a lot of legal departments are even busier than normal.

Our next session will cover the theme of “Risk management: 5 key priorities for organisations during the coronavirus pandemic”

Join us on the evening to understand the key priorities for legal departments in light of COVID-19 and the practical steps to consider to safeguard your organisation as Emma Dickin, In-house, Risk & Compliance Specialist shares her expertise.

There will also be the opportunity to understand how other legal departments are approaching the coronavirus pandemic as the situation unfolds and an interactive Q&A session.

Emma Dickin - In-house, Risk & Compliance Specialist, LexisNexis

Emma joined the LexisPSL In-house, Risk & Compliance team in 2012. Emma is a qualified lawyer and an expert in legal training.

Prior to her career at LexisNexis, Emma worked as a legal assistant for British American Tobacco and as a fee earner in a specialist property law firm.

 

Sophie Gould - In-house Network Relationship Manager, LexisNexis

Sophie trained as a lawyer in the City and worked as an in-house lawyer for 10 years including as Head of Legal for Virgin Radio and Ginger Media Group.

 

Louisa van Eeden-Smit - Head of Marketing, In-house Legal, LexisNexis

Louisa leads marketing for the in-house legal community at LexisNexis. She joined the dedicated in-house team at LexisNexis five years ago and has a passion for driving and facilitating initiatives which are customer-focused at their heart
