i-LIKE Forum: Demonstrating the value of legal. Value workshop

The relationship between the legal function and the business continues to evolve. Pressures to reduce costs and increase efficiency are pushing digital transformation up the agenda. Increasingly sophisticated approaches to external firm management are being employed. The approach to risk is being reshaped driven by an explosion in regulation and compliance crises, the influence of globalisation, emerging digital economies and most recently the global implications of COVID-19.

Within this context, how are legal departments approaching value creation? Which activities provide higher value and increase the influence and impact of the legal team?

Join us on the 11th May for a unique event in partnership with LexSolutions to explore what real “value” is in the context of your department, your business and your team.

Date: Tuesday 11th May

Time: 08:30am – 10:30am

Why attend?

Using interactive design thinking exercises we will jointly explore how to create, measure and demonstrate value and to understand the different facets of value and how to define and deliver it.

We will also draw on insights from our recent LexisNexis report “Making the intangible, tangible: Demonstrating value as an in-house legal function” which surveyed 330 UK legal departments to share practical peer insights and specific methods on approaching value creation.

Marrying design thinking, systemic coaching and practical in-house experience, this unique workshop will give you deeper insights on value and strategies for delivering it.

Supporting Learning, Innovation, Knowledge and Excellence In-house

The LexisNexis i-LIKE forum brings together senior counsel, knowledge managers and legal operations directors working in-house to exchange ideas and share experiences.

Our vision is to encourage collaboration and innovation to help in-house legal departments to improve performance through the sharing of best practice.
