Co-op is one of the world's largest consumer co-operatives. It is owned by millions of members and employs nearly 70,000 people. With 2,500 stores, it is the UK's fifth biggest food retailer and is also the UK's number 1 funeral services provider, a major general insurer and a growing legal services business.

The Co-op subscribe to LexisPSL and LexisLibrary in 2018, having switched from another provider. Their aim was to both reduce the costs of their in-house legal function, as well as expand their resources.
Due to the vast nature of the Co-op's area of business, they are subscribers to 35 practice areas of the law. Our content helps lawyers to gain access to comprehensive coverage of the black letter law, as well as act quickly and efficiency to legal demand, through thousands of precedents, practice notes, regulatory alerts and horizon scanners for in-house counsel.
"While we began looking at LexisNexis products primarily for cost saving, it quickly became more about customer service, ease of onboarding, ongoing training and breadth of resources available. Also, in the spirit of collaboration with our wider stakeholders outside the Legal team, we were able to offer solutions such as the Risk & Compliance, Tax, Audit and Pensions modules to our colleagues in other areas at no additional cost." Oona Cassidy, Legal Counsel - Regulated Products for Co-op."
"We use LexisPSL and LexisLibrary for all of our research and practical guidance to be able to respond to queries across the entire Co-op family of businesses. We also use some of the predecents to add value to our own suite of documents."
"It has been invaluable to our commercial team, General Counsel for Retail, and our risk colleagues. It offers really good practice notes and useful resource such as template policies, checklists and action plans. I also find the weekly email updates to be helpful, providing a quick snapshot of what I need to know."
Free trials are only available to individuals based in the UK
