LexisNexis are hosting an exclusive evening with Baroness Hale – the first female president of the Supreme
At the event we will premiere our film with Baroness Hale in which she speaks about her role models and the progression of women in the legal profession. This will be followed by an on stage conversation with Baroness Hale.
This event marks the next key milestone in the ambitious First 100 Years project to produce a digital museum made up of 100
video stories that tell the story of women in law. The project's vision is to ensure a strong and equal future for all women in the legal profession through a deep understanding of the past combined with a celebration of today. This archive will be
donated to the British Library in 2019 to mark the centenary of the Sex Disqualification (Removal) Act 1919 which paved the way for women to become lawyers for the first time.
The evening will also include networking drinks and the opportunity to join a short guided tour of the Supreme Court,
including the magnificent Judicial Library – not usually open to the public.
Should you have any questions relating to the event please contact the events team on firstname.lastname@example.org.
