Sarah worked in planning departments at several city firms, including SJ Berwin, Wragge Lawrence Graham and Norton Rose Fulbright, before joining LexisNexis UK in January 2017. She has experience of planning and compulsory purchase law and regularly advised landowners, investors and developers on all planning law aspects, with a particular focus on large-scale development, regeneration and infrastructure schemes. Sarah also has considerable experience conducting planning-related legal proceedings.

Ruth is a solicitor specialising in energy law. She has extensive regulatory and transactional experience in projects within the power, renewables and oil & gas sectors, both in the UK and internationally, and often with a project finance dimension. Her experience includes advising on electricity interconnector development projects, gas pipeline projects, power plant projects (including IPPs, wind farms and waste to energy plants), electricity trading (including on Grid Trade Master Agreements (GTMAs), and advising a power exchange on the development of standard documentations), energy M&As, energy sector privatisations, gas purchase and gas tolling agreements, and joint operations.

Ruth trained and qualified at Dentons (including a six-month stint in their Moscow office), and subsequently worked at Allen & Overy, Herbert Smith Freehills and Ashurst. Ruth joined LexisNexis® in March 2020. She has written a number of articles which have been published in various publications.
Prior to joining LexisNexis in 2016 as a paralegal, Lauren was an adjudicator at the Financial Ombudsman Service. There she resolved consumers’ complaints, and gained knowledge about a wide variety of financial products. Before this she studied Law at Nottingham Trent University.

Louisa leads marketing for the in-house legal community at LexisNexis. She joined the dedicated in-house team at LexisNexis four years ago and has a passion for driving and facilitating initiatives which are customer-focused at their heart. Her vision is to support in-house counsel succeed in their fast-evolving role based on deep insight, data analysis and best practice gathered across the in-house community.

Prior to her in-house focused role, Louisa led the marketing for the bar and mid-market private practice sectors as well as product marketing lead for LexisPSL – LexisNexis’ cloud based, practical guidance and legal research software solution.

She brings 20 years’ marketing experience both client and agency side, specialising in B2B marketing in the Legal, TMT (Telco, Media and Technology) and Financial Services industries. In both South Africa, Europe and the UK.

Louisa is also an active member on the LexisNexis Gender Equality Matters (GEM) steering committee and is involved with the Families at LexisNexis Group which brings together, supports and lobbies for change those with an interest in balancing the challenges of work and family.
