About Bridget

Bridget Prentice was Labour Member of Parliament for Lewisham East from 1992 until she decided to stand down in 2010. She has held a variety of government posts from Parliamentary Private Secretary to the then Lord Chancellor, Lord Irvine to Government Whip and from 2005 to 2010, Minister for Justice where she piloted the reforms to Legal Services as well as the Coroners’ Service and Electoral Administration. Bridget currently runs courses in Leadership, is a trustee of the Jimmy Mizen Foundation, Age Exchange and the Blackheath Historic Buildings Trust and advises organisations working with government and the public sector.
