The Data Protection Intelligence Group has released a further paper on Brexit and international personal data transfers: template international transfer sub-clause.

The paper presents a template international personal data transfer sub-clause for certain arrangements between controllers and processors that is designed to operate in a variety of potential Brexit outcomes. It outlines both pro-controller and pro-processor positions and examines some of the key drafting pitfalls to avoid when updating legacy provisions in advance of Brexit.
