Jackson Reforms: The Practical Impact

Lord Justice Jackson and other senior judges delivered a series of lectures concentrating on how on different aspects of the Final Costs Review would be implemented.  As well as this insight into the new provisions and their application, the LexisNexis DR team kept practitioners up to date as to the progress of the implementation of Jackson’s recommendations through legislation and CPR with a focus on what impact the changes would have in practice.

With the reforms now in place, the practical impact is starting to become apparent.  Some of the rules are working well whilst others have generated considerable debate as to how they will work in practice.  We would be interested in hearing your thoughts on those issues you are encountering when dealing with the new reforms, good or bad.
