Changes to the Online Civil Money Claims Pilot

On 20 February 2020 the Ministry of Justice published the 114th update—practice direction amendments, which makes amendments to CPR PD 51R ie the Online Civil Money Claims Pilot. 

The amendments come into force on two different dates:

  • Monday 24 February 2020 at 11 am—all amendments except those that come into force on Monday 6 April 2020 ie amendments that do not deal with changes to the statements of truth
  • Monday 6 April 2020—amendments to CPR PD 51R, paras 13.1(1) and (2) and a new para 13.1(5) ie amendments dealing with the changes to statements of truth. The changes to statements of truth are set out in the 113th update which comes into force on Monday 6 April 2020.
