119th practice direction update—changes to the Online Civil Money claims Pilot due to Coronavirus (Covid-19)

The Ministry of Justice has signed the 119th update—practice direction amendments, which make amendments to CPR PD 51R ie the Online Civil Money Claims Pilot. The amendments came into force on Tuesday 14 April 2020 and are stated to be in response to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. The amendments apply to all claims submitted to the court after 11 am 14 April 2020. Included within the amendments is the extension of certain aspects of the pilot to any county court hearing centre.

The amendments are made to CPR PD 51R which sets out the Online Civil Money Claims Pilot.
