Welsh Government announces relaxation of coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions

The Welsh Government has confirmed that the date for the relaxation of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic restrictions in Wales will be brought forward from 17 May 2021 to 3 May 2021. The easing of these restrictions includes the resumption of indoor supervised activities for children, indoor organised activities for up to 15 adults and the re-opening of community centres. From 24 April 2021, the rule of six will allow for up to six people from six households to meet outdoors. Wales will therefore proceed to Alert Level 3 by 3 May 2021. Organised outdoor activities for up to 30 people will be able to take place and weddings receptions can take place outdoors for up to 30 people. These arrangements will be confirmed at the next three-week review, which will be held on 13 May 2021.
