The Welsh Government has announced that from 4 am on 18 January 2021, passengers arriving from all international destinations into Wales, whether by boat, plane or train, will be required to present a negative coronavirus (COVID-19) test result before departing, as well as their Passenger Locator Form. The test must be taken up to 72 hours before departure from the country they are in. The measure has been introduced to ‘help protect against the new strains of coronavirus such as those seen in Brazil, Denmark and South Africa’.
