Scotland issues guidance on attending court by electronic means amid coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service has released guidance in relation to remote hearings and attendance by electronic means amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The guidance sets out the procedure to be followed to facilitate the attendance of parties by electronic means in certain classes of case. Its sections cover what to do in advance of a hearing and what to do during the hearing. The guidance also provides dedicated court email addresses and court hotline numbers in Appendix A and Appendix B respectively.
