New inquiry launched on long term funding of adult social care amid coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee has launched an inquiry on long term funding of adult social care. The Committee wishes to investigate the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the adult social care sector. An inquiry and a report on adult social care and its long term funding were co-conducted and co-published by the Committee and the Health and Social Care Committee in 2018 before the pandemic. As the coronavirus pandemic has induced further pressures on adult social care, this initiative aims to present a more recent picture and to explore options for additional funding. Views can be submitted until 16 April 2021.

Evidence can be submitted here.
